This tour starts in “Tafí del Valle”, the main touristic centre of Tucumán. It is a valley surrounded by mountains.  This place has a great combination of mountains, rivers, nice weather and the comfort of new hotels and restaurants. Here you can listen to some folk music while you enjoy the regional food. There are many activities to be done like excursions around the place, museums and Jesuits ruins to visit or maybe some fishing in the river.

In this tour you can go to “El Pelao” y “El Pabellón” hills where there is a chapel built by the Jesuits in the XVIII century and where you can appreciate a panoramic view of the valley.

Some kilometers away, we arrive to an artificial dike called “Dique La Angostura” where you can do some fishing or some water sports.

Another touristic place is “Amaicha del Valle” that is 2200 meters above sea level and preserves a part of the indigenous history in their inhabitants.

The tour ends in the “Quilmes” ruins that are 20 km away from “Amaicha”. This archeological site shows the way the Quilmes native used to live from the year 800 to the XVII century.
