La Yungas is the area of lower height in the province and it is located in the warm subtropical region. It is an area of natural beauty with incredible vegetation. In this place we can find the biggest reserve of flora and fauna of Jujuy. Agriculture and the sugar industry are the main business activities of the region.
 
The tour starts in “Libertador General San Martín” which is the centre of Las Yungas and the operational centre for the visit to Calilegua National Park. The trip offers the opportunity for plenty of activities such as photographic safaris, bird watching, ethnographic excursions, trekking, horse riding, mountain climbing and some bathing in the thermal spring.

The Calilegua National Park is a natural reserve that protects the subtropical jungle where we can appreciate more than 250 bird species, an extraordinary reserve of flora and fauna and some species in danger like pumas, yaguaretés (a local jaguar), otters and tapirs.
