The city San Salvador de Jujuy treasures a great historical heritage. It was in this city that Manuel Belgrano was able to defeat the Spanish Army.

The most outstanding sights of this city are: the Cathedral, the San Francisco Church and “la Casa de Gobierno” (the Government House) where we can appreciate the first National Flag.

There are two other places worth visiting: “Lola Mora” museum where we can appreciate the work of this woman who is one of the most famous sculptresses in Argentina and the Historical Museum of the Province that has three exhibition halls, the exodus hall, the governors’ hall and the colonial hall.
